Jeannette Buckle – Trustee

Jeannette Buckle has worked in the environmental sector for over 29 years. Working on large infrastructure and service contracts, she has a wealth of experience in communications, project management, developing strategies and delivering programmes on time and in budget, liaising with various stakeholders including the public; and managing volunteers in recent years for Buckinghamshire Council. Jeannette currently works part time for Beaconsfield Town Council as a Project Manager. Here she is proud to have set up a trial Community Bus initiative run completely by volunteers and herself.

Still a consultant in the Environmental sector she is also Author of ‘Save Pounds and the Planet’, and is constantly striving for less impact on the environment in the home.

Jeannette has volunteered locally for many years as a Beaconsfield High School mum, Master Composter, Energy Champion and was chair of the Environment working group on the Vision 4 Beaconsfield report where local residents were asked to get involved and prepare a report towards a new town plan for Beaconsfield. She currently chairs the Environment Group for the Beaconsfield Society and has organised many litter picks across the town in collaboration with other Not For Profit groups.

In her spare time she can be found reading or sewing or catching up with friends.
